Project Manager

Minimum Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Civil & Structural construction projects.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Water and Wastewater Treatment projects.

• Proven experience managing projects from construction through commissioning.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in the following will have an added advantage:

• Sewage Treatment Plants (STP)

• Water Treatment Plants (WTP)

• Pumping Stations

• Utility Infrastructure Projects

• Design-and-Build Contracts

• Industrial Construction Projects

Technical Competencies

Strong Knowledge In

• Civil & Structural construction

• Sewage treatment infrastructure

• Construction planning and scheduling

• Project cost control

• Contract administration

• Risk management

• Testing & commissioning

Software Skills

• Microsoft Project

• Primavera P6

• AutoCAD

• Microsoft Office Suite

Leadership Competencies

• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Professional Registration (Preferred)

One or more of the following would be advantageous:

• Registered Professional Engineer (BEM)

• Corporate Member of IEM

• PMP Certification

• CIDB Certification

Additional Requirements

• Possess a valid driving licence.

• Willing to be based on-site.

• Able to attend meetings with consultants, authorities and stakeholders when required.

Position Summary

The Project Manager shall be responsible for the overall planning, execution, coordination and delivery of the Sewage Plant project, ensuring completion within approved budget, timeline, quality standards and regulatory requirements.

The role requires strong experience in Civil & Structural construction together with proven involvement in Water and Wastewater Treatment projects.
